Your participation in Naughty Revival helps to make this 2-Night Hotel Take-Over a memorable and enjoyable event for all! Be a part of the event and have fun working with other members from the community while receiving a general admission ticket in exchange for a minimum of 8 hours of service.

Qualifications

Volunteer Agreement

Each volunteer receives general admission in exchange for a minimum of 8 hours of service towards the event.

New volunteers and Returning volunteers receive a general admission ticket. Any volunteer who does not complete their agreed shift may be removed from the venue with general admission credentials rescinded (unless they purchase a ticket), and will not be offered volunteer roles at future events.

Safety

Safety is paramount at all Naughty Revival events. Public Background checks are completed on all volunteers chosen to participate.

Expectations

Community

Treat all volunteers, event staff, attendees, and community members with respect, courtesy, and dignity.

Kindness

Kindness to those volunteering alongside of you, the hotel staff, and attendees.

Availability During the Event

Flexibility

Flexibility and consideration about the hours you may work.

Availability

You may not be scheduled for the entire timeframes for your assigned role as we will be scheduling based upon need and anticipated “peak” hours. All volunteers require a minimum commitment of 8 hours. If you cannot commit to the minimum hours, please do not volunteer.

Preparation Before the Event

Leadership

Each volunteer group will have a lead overseeing the responsibilities of the team.

Leadership and Preparation

The leads will have Zoom calls as needed before the event to help the team build rapport and understand their responsibilities. This time will also allow for suggestions and make improvements.

Location

Availability to attend a venue site visit to familiarize yourself with the hotel layout. Those residing outside of the Twin Cities will not be required to attend.

Communication

Must have availability for Zoom team meetings starting a few months before each event.

Check-in & Ticketing

Overall timeframes for available shifts:

  • Friday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
  • Saturday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Assist with customers checking in and providing credentials to attendees, performers, educators, other volunteers, and vendors.
    Classroom Monitor & Moderator

    Overall timeframes for available shifts:

    • Friday 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
    • Saturday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Introduce the Educator to the class.
    • Monitor class length for the educator to ensure the scheduled start and stop times.
    • Assist with straightening the chairs and turning over the room between classes.
    • Assist attendees into the classroom.
    • Monitor room for cell phone activity during class.
    Dungeon Monitor

    Overall timeframes for available shifts:

    • Friday 6:00 pm – Saturday 2:00 am
    • Saturday 12:00 pm – Sunday 2:00 am

    Requirements:

    • Availability for training in advance of event. Length of training will be 90 minutes.
    • Previous experience as a DM at community events is preferred, but not required.
    Front Courtyard Monitor

    Multiple shifts available:

    • Friday 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
    • Saturday 10:00 am – 10:00 pm

      Responsibilities and Duties:

      • This is an outside job and in the winter. The position is in pairs so you won’t be outside all the time.
      • Monitor the front courtyard and direct traffic as needed.
      • Assure vehicles are not blocking traffic.
      • Assure vehicles are not parking in reserved spots if not authorized.
      Gap Volunteer

      Timeframes for shifts will vary, with shifts available throughout the entire event.

      Responsibilities and Duties:

      • Various tasks such as short drives to local stores to pick up pre-arranged and paid for food and beverage for performers and or educators, staging food and beverage in the green room.
      • Monitoring the designated closed-door location where phone usage is allowed. 
      • Filling into volunteer areas that are short staffed. 
      • Staffing of Naughty Revival Guest Services Concierge desk. 
      Medical

      Overall timeframes for available shifts:

      • Friday 4:00 pm – Saturday 3:00 am
      • Saturday 7:00 am – Sunday 3:00 am

        Responsibilities and Duties:

        • Previous experience required.
        • Monitoring entire event space and reacting to any medical emergencies.
        Movers - Load-In & Load-Out

        Must be able to lift 45 pounds.

        Load-In, Thursday at Storage Unit

        Thursday: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

        Loading equipment in from our Burnsville storage unit.

        Responsibilities and Duties:

        • Loading truck(s). 
        • Assist as needed with set-up in various areas of the hotel.

        Load-In, Friday at Hotel

        Friday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm

        Responsibilities and Duties:

        • Unloading truck(s) and assisting Vendors with unloading their wares. 
        • Assist as needed with set-up in various areas of the hotel.

        Load-Out, Sunday at Hotel
        Sunday 8:30 am – 11:30 am

        Responsibilities and Duties:

        • Loading truck(s).
        • Assist as needed with tear-down in various areas of the hotel.

        Load-Out, Sunday at the Storage Unit

        Sunday 8:30 am – 11:30 am

        Responsibilities and Duties:

        • Loading truck(s).
        • Assist as needed with tear-down in various areas of the hotel.
        Security

        Overall timeframes for available shifts:

        • Friday 12:30 pm – Saturday 3:00 am
        • Saturday 7:00 am – Sunday 3:00 am

          Responsibilities and Duties:

          • Previous experience preferred, but not required.
          • All shifts will work in conjunction with Private Event Security Teams.
          • Security Shirts are provided free of charge and must be worn and turned in after each shift.
          Swingers Suite Moderator

          Overall timeframes for available shifts:

          • Friday 6:00 pm – Saturday 2:00 am
          • Saturday 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
          • Saturday 7:00 pm to Sunday 2:00 am

          Responsibilities and Duties:

          • Greet guests, monitor the suite for safety, security, and confidentiality of all participants.
          Vendor Assistance

          Overall timeframes for available shifts:

          • Friday 11:30 am – 5:30 pm
          • Saturday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

            Responsibilities and Duties:

            • Assist Vendor Coordinator is directing vendors to assigned locations.
            • Assist with their load-in/load-out of merchandise and any requests or questions they may have.

            History

            Founded in June of 2018 as Kinque Social Society and reorganized in the summer of 2021 for the first Naughty Revival event later that year, events have been produced at the following Minnesota locations:

            The first event under the Naughty Revival brand was at the Sheraton Bloomington on Nov 13, 2021. The first Naughty Revival 2-Night Hotel TAKE-OVER was Nov 18-20, 2022 at the Sheraton Minneapolis West in Minnetonka, MN. For past event dates, see our event details:

            Naughty Revival is a 21+ 2-Night, immersive experience of kink. From the moment you enter the hotel, be transported into an indulgence of sensual pleasures that include everything from ballroom dungeon, pool dungeon, performances, classes, swingers' suite, and more.
