MUST READ & FOLLOW TO ATTEND

These rules are the same for all events, unless specified.

By purchasing a ticket and/or room to Naughty Revival, you agree that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by all these rules and you agree to waive/release Naughty Revival and the organizers of the event from any and all responsibility and liability for any injury occurring to, during, or after the event; including any lost or stolen items.

1) About These Rules & Their Enforcement

a. Learn how to behave appropriately prior to attending!  Friday at 4PM of the event there will be an optional orientation for new attendees.

b. You cannot use ignorance of the rules as an excuse to break them.

c. The Security Team, Organizers, and Dungeon Monitors (DMs) will enforce these rules and the Code of Conduct outlined at their discretion. Intentionally violating any Rule or Code of Conduct may result in dismissal from event with no refund.

d. Ask organizers should any of the rules be unclear. If you feel that you are just embarking on your journey, try to connect with those who appear to be more experienced and are performing the types of scenes that interest you most.

e. Read posted signs and use discretion as to when to approach those involved in a scene/performance. Do not interrupt scenes or aftercare for any reason. Wait until you see the participants return to socializing.

2) Consent

a. We subscribe to an active consent rule where only “yes” means yes.

b. “No” means no. “Maybe” also means no. No response also means no. Be aware of the risks associated with your activities. Negotiate thoroughly to ensure all parties are comfortably acting within their risk profiles. If you are not entirely sure you have consent for something, don’t do it.

c. A “yes” for one negotiation does not mean “yes” for the entire event; it is only a “yes” for that one negotiated activity.

d. Be prepared to hear “no” and say “no”. Attendance at this event does not automatically mean that a person wants to play with, submit to, dominate, touch, be touched, or even talk to you. Both parties are expected to communicate clearly.  Remember that consent may be revoked at ANY time except after the action has occurred.

e. Touching – No touching others’ bodies, items attached to their bodies, or their possessions without their expressed consent.

3) Safe-Word and Safe-Signal

a. We follow the universal stop light system. If you call yellow, your scene partner(s) will be expected to pause and check in. Those in the scene may continue if all are in agreement. If anyone calls red, the scene will be expected to end immediately. Dungeon Monitors (DMs) will intervene if they hear “Red,” but the scene does not immediately end. If an observer hears “Red” and notices the scene not ending, they should immediately call over a DM and explain. The DM will intervene and ensure all scene participants are acting in accordance with their personal choice. **Please note that you are welcome to use your personal safewords; however, we cannot guarantee that DMs will be able to support you. DMs cannot be expected to remember individual safewords.

b. In the event that a scene participant is unable to verbalize a safeword, a non-verbal safe signal should be utilized to indicate a yellow or a red. Please note that the DMs will not know your safe signal; therefore, you should choose a spotter who will watch your scene and specifically watch for a participant to use that signal.

4) Food, Alcohol, and Substances

a. No illegal drugs, or poppers, are allowed.

b. Alcohol is available at the hotel bar and the venue bars in the conference area. Because this is a hotel take-over and you may move freely throughout the hotel with any beverage you purchase at the venues. Drink responsibly. Intoxicated persons will not be allowed into the dungeon space.

c. Intoxication – We strongly suggest dungeon/scenes are done before imbibing. Partake responsibly. DM’s have the final say if someone seems impaired.

d. Illegal substances are not permitted anywhere on the premises

e. Meals are permitted only in designated areas.

f. Smoking is only permitted outside, 25 feet away from any entrance. This includes e-cigarettes, vapes, and CARTS.

5) Pets and Animals

The hotel allows pets in the rooms. However, any damage is your liability and the animal must be on good behavior and under your control at all times. If your non-human pet is disruptive, be prepared for security and management to quickly intervene.

6) Privacy: NO Phones, Recording, Photography, or Streaming (including smart glasses)

a. Respect people’s privacy. Outing people is against the rules and is a despicable act.

b. Absolutely no recording, streaming, photography, and phone use – No phones, recording, streaming (this includes smart glasses), or photography devices allowed except in private rooms or in the designated on-site “phone room”. Anyone caught will have their device confiscated, be removed from the event without refund, and incur a lifetime ban. We understand that there are exceptions. Visit the NR info desk if you need accommodations.

c. Cell phones seen in non approved areas are subject to confiscation.

d. Vending – Phone use is permitted for transactions but use discretion. Keep phones pointed down to avoid any possible camera use or photos of others and put away your the device after the payment process.

7) Safety

a. Guns are not permitted.

b. Knives – All knives must be declared upon event check-in. Any undeclared knives will be confiscated.

c. Long whips should only be used in designated areas.

d. Safety around backswing areas – It is the observers responsibility to not be in the way.

e. Sanitation – Use provided cleaning supplies to clean equipment after you are done using it. Use chuck pads if the scene involves possibility of bodily fluids. Ask a DM if supplies run low or are needed.

f. Scene interruption – Do not interrupt or disrupt any scene in which you are not a participant. Even ongoing chatter or loud voices next to a scene can be very disruptive. Please socialize in the social areas outside of the dungeon area.

g. If you see something that you feel is dangerous, say something to security, organizers, and/or dungeon monitors.

8) Social Interactions

a. Strictly prohibited – Prostitution, solicitation, agreement, or negotiation for any sexual activities for cash or any other consideration is strictly prohibited. Professional scene people and prostitutes shall not attend any Naughty Revival event as paid escorts.

b. Sex is only permitted in a private room or in the swingers’ suite.

c. Aftercare area is marked and meant for aftercare only – not for socializing.

d. Body positive – Zero harassment policy. Unwelcome derogatory comments about a person’s body, appearance, nudity, gender presentation and orientation will not be tolerated and will result in expulsion from the event.

e. Race play is not allowed or tolerated and result in expulsion from the event.

f. Harassment – Only interact with people who have consented to continue interacting with you. The “yes”-means-yes rule applies to social interactions as well.
