So, you’ve decided to take the next step in contributing to our community! You’ve chosen to volunteer your time as a dungeon monitor, a vital part of keeping our community safe. Dungeon monitors or DMs are on the front lines at events to ensure safety, help with emergencies, work through the logistics of scenes and assist folks with their questions and concerns. Join us while we gain a broad understanding of how to DM in any space and learn some of the more specific considerations for events in our local community.

Apples (they/them) has been a part of the Madison Wisconsin Kink Community since 2014, and during that time they have hosted munches, became lead DM for Kinky Geeky Night, holds a DM co-chair for Kinky Kollege in Chicago, and volunteers at many other local events. After a lot of nudging and begging Apples started to create and present classes in the Madison area in 2023 where they presented at BaySix and KGN’s The Building Blocks of BDSM while slowly edging outwardly to more areas and events.

Apples identifies as a Switch, which gives them the ability to see a scene from both the bottom and the Tops perspective. They enjoy leading discussions from kink and polyamory, all the way to what you’d horde as a dragon. Apples believes that education and consent are the major foundations to building a great and welcoming community.

Ever get excited while making play plans, but then feel unsure of how to start once it’s time to play? Do you start to get tired or feel “done” mid-scene, but are uncertain about how to wind things down?

This class provides tools and strategies for navigating the transitions between everyday life and play time, and back again, including:

• Strategies for shifting your focus in preparation for a scene
• How to set the mood for the kind of scene you and your play partner want to have
• Approaches to starting a scene, for both tops and bottoms
• Considerations for which starting approaches work best for various types of play
• Approaches for ending a scene, for both tops and bottoms
• Considerations for which ending approaches are most suitable for various mid-scene situations
• Strategies for providing smooth transitions from play headspace to aftercare to everyday life

Before exploring a new kink, please think long and hard about how you will explain things to the paramedics if something goes wrong. This class is loaded with medical information to help us understand why we should and why we should not do certain things without lots of research. We will be analyzing real-life incidents where things did not go as expected, and we will discuss solutions/options for the prevention of injury in the future.
* Caution: There will be graphic images & videos shown during class. So, if you get nauseous at the sight of blood or serious bodily injury, maybe skip this one.

In 2018, she founded the Power Exchange Roundtable, a social, support, and discussion group for Dominant/submissive relationships. Relaxation techniques can improve how a scene might go. And it’s not always just for scenes. Relaxation techniques can help with drop (top or bottom) and everyday challenges. Breathing techniques, mindfulness, and funny stories are included in this class.

Natalya Evangeline has been active in the Milwaukee, Madison, and Chicago communities for over a decade.

Beginning her journey as a submissive to Grandwood, she quickly fell into the role of Dominant when Grandwood recognized the characteristics within her. She became Mistress Natalya right after that. Having Grandwood as her slave for over 10 years, she learned so much from him and the many events and presentations that she has attended where she felt comfortable moving forward in her journey.

Looking for a way to restrict your bottom while avoiding the sensitive nerves in their arms? Come learn beginner technique to build your bottom into a raptor with single columns and walk away with some ideas to build on your own raptor shapes for play! Natural and Synthetic ropes are welcome in this class.

Tops should have a basic knowledge of a single column with a non-collapsible knot of choice (boola boola, bowline, etc.). Bottoms should know the difference between good pain and bad pain.

This class will be equal parts interactive, fun, and gross. Come prepared for graphic slide shows, very unsexy role playing, and group exercises to hone your critical thinking skills.

Topics covered include:

• acceptable surface cleaners
• how to handle a blood spill
• what to do in the incident of fainting

Now that you’re off the ground, let’s add some building blocks to make your self suspension more challenging…and not with 3 single columns! This class will include ways to create torsions, using your uplines to build into your tie for support, and some basic transitions that will leave you wondering why you did this to yourself. Natural and Synthetic ropes are also welcome in this class.

Self Tiers should know both a stable chest hands free harness and lower body (waist/hip/booty basket) harness. This is not a first-time Suspension Class; you will be asked to watch rather than participate if the instructor does not feel you’re ready to take on the material.

Eye protection such as goggles or protective glasses, a hat such a baseball cap, a matched pair of whips (e.g. signal, snake or mini bullwhip) no longer than 4 feet or dragon tails or tongues, intermediate level understanding of Florentine also required

This class focuses on doing the Florentine movement while utilizing two whips.

We will go over the basic Florentine such as the 4 beat weave.

For those who have mastered that, we will go over the 6 beat weave.

The Florentine movement can color and change the texture of a scene due the various sensations it often provides.

There will also be exercises to help improve the aim and accuracy of each hit.

In this workshop, we will guide you through a simple exercise that will open you up to the power of connection. We will reveal five crucial points that will enable you to become a wonder in establishing connections. Finally, we will incorporate these points into flow exercises that will enhance your tension and handling skills and transform how you approach your practice.

Prerequisites: Students are expected to identify basic vocabulary, safety concerns and materials of rope bondage. Students must also be able to demonstrate a non-cinching single-column knot. Rope Foundations, ROPE 101, fulfills this requirement.

Dollification is the process of evolving, mentally, physically, and emotionally, into a form of a doll. The evolution can include an elaborate “dressing” ritual, or simple addition of a personal “doll accessory” to signify change. But the physical piece goes so much deeper. How does one begin such a training regime? Where to start the mental training to switch into your “doll”? How do you find the ability to emotionally disconnect to channel your inner “doll”? Are there different types of dolls? What’s the difference between Marionetting, Porcelain doll or Rubber doll? While all forms of Dollification require a great deal of communication they also require an immense amount of prep work, trust, and thought. How does one create the setup necessary for this type of scene. What does this form of play require? How do you get into headspace? Pleasure, punishment or both? Being kinky is already very stigmatized. But what if you are turned on by something even people in the BDSM community find disgusting?

Disgust is thought of as an emotional and physiological state that helps us avoid things that can hurt us, such as disease, bodily harm, and social alienation. Paradoxically, some people eroticize feeling disgusted, fearful, or ashamed.

These typically negative states are not only tolerated but intentionally sought out by some. And it’s more common than you might think! With consent and safety in mind, you can play with disgust and have fulfilling experiences with this taboo and often ignored aspect of kinky sexuality. This class offers a psychological deep dive into the existence of what I call “disgust-based fetishes”, or erotic disgust, such as toilet play, bug chasing, “mutilation” play, exposure play, heavy degradation, and more.

With all edgeplay, there are safety and ethical quandaries attached to these forms of sexual expression. I will unpack the implications and address the nuances involved in negotiating risk, reward, and consent.

“Putting the ‘Rough’ in Rough Body Play” is a class in rough body play. This is an anatomy intensive class that covers the use of various body parts as a striking tool and the appropriate locations for those strikes. Some pressure points are covered, but the bulk of the class covers safe impact play as it pertains to any contact made between two people without the use of a tool/toy.

Tempo (He/Him) is a traveling top who has a passion for learning, education, and kink. Specializing in rope play and impact play, he travels to various communities and other countries to expand his knowledge of kink. Tempo has presented for venues, like Studio Friction in Denver, CO; Studio Theory in San Antonio, and large events across the country including North American Rope Innovation Exchange, Ropecraft, Frolicon, and Tethered Together. As a former teacher for a regionally accredited college, Tempo shares his knowledge of teaching practices to help other kink experts share their skills. True to his name, much of his play involves weaving music into his scenes.

Natalya Evangeline has been active in the Milwaukee, Madison, and Chicago communities for over a decade.

Beginning her journey as a submissive to Grandwood, she quickly fell into the role of Dominant when Grandwood recognized the characteristics within her. She became Mistress Natalya right after that. Having Grandwood as her slave for over 10 years, she learned so much from him and the many events and presentations that she has attended where she felt comfortable moving forward in her journey.

Natalya has a love for learning and teaching and it shows in her Psychology (B.S.), Religious Studies (M.A.), and Secondary Education Teaching Licensure. Currently, Natalya is also the Head Mistress of the Milwaukee Chapter of ClubFEM and organizer of the FREE (Femdomme relationship education and exploration) group. She is also involved with local groups and venues such as vending at the Naughties, Milwaukee Niceties, and the Eassel play space.
